Day 7 - Devils Elbow, MO - The Ozarks

I had read about Devils Elbow being in the heart of the Ozarks and a good example of the area scenery.  I was not disappointed, but I kept wondering when some banjos would start the song from "Deliverance".

The river is the Big Piney River.  All the streams and rivers are muddy from all the rain.  They have had a lot, which I can attest to!

The bridge was built in 1923 and is still used.  Obviously not a lot of traffic, but people still live up there.  The local cafe and biker bar was either closed or not open yet.  The biker bar was known to be decorated by bras hanging from the ceiling.

  1. I take it you must have made a pit stop to check out the interior decorating at the biker bar 🤣
