Day 20 - Altadena, CA to Williams, California
I was unable to post last night, but it was pretty much a boring drive on the interstate. No getting lost, just stay on the concrete that heads north!
Mike took a pic of me leaving the neat little house that I was welcomed into with or without slave labor. I enjoyed the stay like it was family. I won't miss the block laying, but I will miss the laughter!
I logged in about 450 miles in approx. 9 hours, so my stamina was back to where it was at the start of the trip! Every mile in this case, getting me closer to home!
The truck ran great and the miles rolled by.

Good progress!
ReplyDeleteIt's too late for this, but on the south side of Williams is Big M Automotive Classic Car Dismantling. I-5 is elevated at that point and you can look down on their yard (west side of the freeway) as you pass. I've bought parts from them for various cars I've restored. They always seem to have everything and anything.
800 miles to go. Eugene/Springfield is half way.
To prepare for the next road trip with the possibility of no WiFi, have Danielle show you how to turn your phone into a WiFi hotspot
ReplyDeleteNo more switches on John's phone. He gets all screwed up. Mike C
DeleteDick, do you mean that young lady that took 2 1/2 weeks to get connected to my blog?
DeleteIt's just that she ignored you as long as possible. ; > )
